The problem of inadequate response to antidepressant treatment

Professor Roger McIntyre discussed with us at ENCP 2021 problems associated with inadequate response to antidepressant therapy and how these are best defined. He also chatted about how patients who are less engaged are less likely to respond to treatment, which can lead to poor outcomes. This is something that can be modified by best practice including not just pharmacotherapy but psychosocial engagement.
